La cité d'Aquanos

Hi everyone, how are you doing ?

Long time no see. Today I'm back with my bachelor project that took me four month and a half to develop alone. For my last project, I had to develop a game of my choice from scratch. So I've decided to create a first-person walking simulator to concentrate and develop my skill in 3D environment, level design and sound design.

You can walk through the lost Greek city of Aquanos as Isaac, a sailor who was shipwrecked on this lost island. This city was an antic, wealthy international port where all kinds of objects could be found. My main inspirations were ''Water 7'' from One piece and the game ''Rime'' from Tequila works. Aquanos is a city that works with water energy, which is why you can see a port, fountains, and even a huge aqueduct crossing the city.

I've made over 60 assets myself, that was a huge challenge that made me take the decision to cut half of the level size, which permitted me to work on the sound design with ''Fmod'', a music software that works with Unity.

Overall, It was a great project that pushed me near my technical capacity limits and was an opportunity to put every skill that I learned during those three years at Les maîtres du monde school to use.

Thank you for watching ! See you soon for some exciting news...
